Tonight was the first night that I watched American Idol in weeks. I am really no longer a fan. However, I am a true fan of Lil Rounds. She tore that song up tonight. "The Rose" by Bette Midler is one of my all-time favorites and Lil's rendition of it was outstanding. I would purchase that song tomorrow if she recorded it. I was stunned when Simon told her that she was not a good artist. Please!
I am calling in now to cast my vote for her. This needs to be there last season though, in my opinion.

I too agree about the American Idol show last night. I only started watching this year when my mother introduced it to me. I agree Simon's comments were unprofessional and uncalled for. My mother and I both voted for her last night. I hope it helps. Watching that episode reminds me why I do not like reality tv.
